What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are stored on your device when you visit the site. They allow the site to function, remember preferences, measure audience, and display advertising. We also use equivalent technologies (pixels, local storage, identifiers).
On this site we use our own and third-party cookies. Some are essential for the page to work; others are only activated if you authorize them.

Consent model (geolocated banner)
We implement a consent management platform (CMP) with geolocation that applies the appropriate standard according to your location. Non-essential scripts (analytics and marketing) are blocked until consent is obtained where the model is opt-in.
| User region | Model | Banner behavior |
|---|---|---|
| EU/EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Australia, Ecuador | Opt-in | Prior, granular consent (accept / reject / configure), with "reject" as easy as "accept"; no pre-ticked boxes. United Kingdom: certain aggregate measurement cookies may be exempt (DUAA 2025). |
| United States (California and other states) | Opt-out | "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" links; recognition of the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. |
| Mexico | Transparency + option | Cookie notice linked to the Privacy Notice, with the option to accept/reject/configure and to limit use/disclosure. (An opt-in banner is adopted as best practice.) |
| Japan | Mixed | 1st-party cookies usually without consent; 3rd-party cookies that link to an identifiable user may require it. |
We record proof of consent (chosen option, date, and time). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie preferences manager available on the site.
How to give, configure, or withdraw your consent
When you first enter the site, we show you a notice where you can accept all cookies, reject them, or configure which ones you allow by category. Non-necessary cookies (analytics and marketing) are not installed or executed until you give your consent where the model is opt-in. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time from the button on this page or from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. When you withdraw your consent, the cookies in the categories you reject will stop running.
How to disable or manage cookies
- From our cookie preferences manager (button on this page or link in the site footer).
- From your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge): you can be notified of the receipt of cookies, block them, or delete those already stored. Note that blocking certain cookies may affect the functioning of some sections of the site.
- Through third-party exclusion mechanisms (for example, Google's opt-out tools and interest-based advertising).
- USA users: by activating the GPC signal in your browser.
Nature and duration
The cookies used may be session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent (remaining for a specified time according to their purpose). Necessary cookies and aggregate analytics are associated with an anonymous user and their device. Marketing cookies may process personal data (such as identifiers) and therefore require your prior consent where the model is opt-in.
Legal basis and framework
The use of cookies is governed by the LFPDPPP 2025 and its Regulation (Mexico), the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC + GDPR (EU), PECR + UK GDPR (United Kingdom), LGPD (Brazil), POPIA (South Africa), nFADP (Switzerland), KVKK (Turkey), CCPA/CPRA (California), and other applicable regulations according to the user's location.
Changes to this policy
This Cookies Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the tools we use or in the applicable regulations. We will publish the version in force on this same page, indicating the date of the last update. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
